In the early 70's Graham & Angela Brokenshire had a vision of buying a garage and providing a high quality of service to the people of Mid Cornwall and its surrounding area's this is bordered by St. Austell, Newquay, Truro and Bodmin so in 1979 Penwyn Motor Centre was purchased and they set out to provide local people with all aspects of a full motor trade site. Sales of new and used vehicles and every service of keeping them that way. So today we can offer the quality service in the area's of service and parts, MOTS up to 3.5 ton and vehicle refinish.

The site has grown from humble beginnings, but Graham & Angela's vision has been improved upon over the years with such additions as a purpose built commercial vehicle bay, vehicle body shop and the most recent being a purpose built showroom that displays 30 cars under cover of which in the last 18 months was awarded Proton Cars franchise for Cornwall.

Their two sons lan & Jason have a responsibility to look after the departments of vehicle body repair and vehicle servicing parts, Angela oversees the busy forecourt that sells all those items for the modern day motorist at the same time the forecourt carwash and vacuum allows those wishing to use it, the pleasure of keeping their car clean. Graham oversees the whole operation and undertakes vehicle selection for resale, this he spends most time on selecting only the best for their site so the concept of the family business is to supply the very best at realistic, but not high prices, to a discerning public, and having done so, to warrant them and to keep them as good as the day they were sold.
